Art assistant
Reading, Wokingham (Berkshire)
Part-time, fixed term contract to July 2026, with opportunity for extension and further work.
Arty class is a dedicated school of drawing and painting covering Reading and Wokingham in Berkshire. We offer structured Art lessons for children aged 5- 16 years old. We are working in partnership with Artspiration, an established provider of art education which was set up in 2014. We have a six year enriching curriculum where we enjoy introducing children to a comprehensive range of artistic themes and techniques.
We are currently recruiting an Art assistant to help at two of our after school clubs and one of our Art Schools across Reading and Wokingham, once a week for one term to support our experienced Art leaders and teachers for the Summer term. There is also opportunity for further assisting work.
Our teaching team work on nurturing each child to bring out the best in them as well as creating a warm and enjoyable environment to work in. If you are passionate about art and love working with children, we'd love to work with you. Enhanced DBS check and independent travel required.
